Megan Thee Stallion drops her highly anticipated music video for her hit single “Hot Girl Summer” featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign. The visual, which is directed by Munachi Osegbu, finds Megan throwing what looks like the finest pool party this season with tons of famous friends such as Rico Nasty, Ari Lennox, Summer Walker, La La Anthony, among others, “driving the boat.” Watch the music video above.
Before the single was created, “Hot Girl Summer” was a state of mind. “It’s about women and men being unapologetically them, just having a good-ass time, hyping up their friends, doing you,” she explained to The Root when asked about the phenomenon. “You definitely have to be a person who can be the life of the party and just a bad b*tch.” Most recently, Megan performed “Hot Girl Summer” at the VMAs.
