Engineered Garments & HOKA ONE ONE Revise the BONDI B Silhouette
The archival model has been doused in three asymmetric colorways.
Following its wildly successful TOR ULTRA LOW collaboration with HOKA ONE ONE last year, militaristic Japanese Americana imprint Engineered Garments is ready for the second installment. Tapping graffiti artist Shaun Crawford for the accompanying artwork, the new range will revive an archived model from 2011, the BONDI B — HOKA ONE ONE’s first ultra-cushioned and lightweight model.
Within the capsule, three new colorways have been introduced — a multicolor iteration with differentiating color blocking on each shoe, and monochromatic White and Black versions. Material-wise the shoes feature mainly mesh uppers, with small hits of leather placed throughout the cage. The shoe itself features a lightweight EVA midsole which has been paired with an early stage Meta-Rocker for smooth walking and running. Rounding off the shoe’s features is an Active Foot Frame for increased support.
The Engineered Garments x HOKA ONE ONE BONDI B capsule will drop at Nepenthes New York on September 6, Engineered Garments Japan on September 14, and through HOKA ONE ONE on September 16. The price has yet to be confirmed.
