Billionaire Boys Club Taps Artist Michael Kagan for Second Collaboration

Six years after first linking up on a streetwear collection, Billionaire Boys Club and artist Michael Kagan have teamed up again for an upcoming capsule. Like the last go-round, the assortment will include several graphic T-shirts that interpret the BBC ICECREAM moon man through Kagan’s perspective, while a skate deck will bring in another unique option to the range.

The tees are offered in a variety of white and black options that have been designed with imagery of astronauts, spaceships and ICECREAM’s helmet emblem. Each shirt is also co-branded with logos from both partners, with the artist’s printed autograph adding another personalized touch. Billionaire Boys Club will mark the launch with an event at its New York flagship store this week, where Kagan will be on hand to sign copies of his new book, Michael Kagan: I Was There When It Happened.

“Kagan is an ideal collaboration partner, bringing the capsule to life with a beautiful and imaginative artistic expression of our brand ethos, as only he can,” said Joseph Au, creative director and designer of Billionaire Boys Club.

Tees in the capsule are priced at $65 USD each, while the skate deck retails for $110 USD. Alongside the New York launch event this Thursday, September 26, the brand will be releasing the collection at its Miami pop-up. A wider release will follow on Friday, September 27 at BBC ICECREAM’s webstore.
