Maison Margiela Releases $1,000 USD Puffer Sneakers

After dipping its Fusion Low model in metallic silver earlier this month, Maison Margiela has now given one of its latest sneakers a navy puffer shell fit for the cold months ahead. The shoes are reminiscent of a billowy nylon coat, and come trimmed with suede for an elevated fabrication mix along the upper.
A toggled drawstring closure continues the outerwear aesthetic, while the label’s signature numbers logo is featured on a tonal tongue patch. Other details include a sock liner for enhanced warmth and jagged rubber soles that lend a geometric look. An embossed Maison Margiela emblem at the midsole finishes it off.
