After dropping its “KL-Shogun” colorway, Japanese footwear stalwart ASICS has returned with a new rendition of the Gel-Lyte V in “Piedmont Grey/Black.”

Boasting mesh and premium suede textiles, contrasting panels of brown and silver are placed throughout the sneaker, complemented with sharp hits of teal. The tongue is embroidered with “ASICS” branding at the top, followed by round tonal laces that cover the forefoot. Soft brown suede textiles cover the heels and toe cap, while mesh underlays appear throughout the body. One distinctive highlight of this piece is its brightly speckled side stripes that pop out from the rest of the sneaker. As a finishing note, the shoe comes with a retro-inspired cream-colored midsole, underscored by a thin black outsole.

The ASICS Gel-Lyte V “Piedmont Grey/Black” is currently available at asicstiger.com for $100 USD.

Elsewhere, Suicoke has crafted a new pair of snakeskin sandals.
