ROA continues exploring the grey area between hiking silhouettes and street-friendly design with a new collection of seasonal footwear. For Fall/Winter 2019, the Italian footwear brand has developed a new outdoor-ready silhouette and complemented its existing array of functional styles with futuristic textiles and colors.

Patchwork wool, lush Kudu leather and crinkled metallic silver are only two of the playful treatments that elevate the Vibram-soled silhouettes, with starkly-contrasting mesh, leather and suede panels remixing the sturdy styles into head-turning looks. Of course, there’s tonal white and black makeups for more subtle looks, along with muted items that offer a single splash of red, green or blue to contrast against a neutral base.

Along with the Andreas boot and Neal and Oblique shoes, ROA has also crafted a new style: the Lhakpa, inspired by the woman who holds the world record for most Mount Everest climbs. The Lhakpa’s mixed material nylon and leather upper allows for more pattern play, juxtaposing rugged materials against lighthearted hues.

Expect key shoes to hit Slam Jam’s site and stockists like MATCHESFASHION.COM shortly. Take a closer look at select styles below.

Recently, ROA introduced a ripstop take on its Oblique sneaker, complete with removable rubber guard.
