Peewee Longway Shares New 'Blue M&M 4' Single "Wakanda"

At the beginning of this month, Peewee Longway officially announced his next studio project The Blue M&M 4 and served up its lead single, “Fiji Water.” Now, swiftly following up the release of “Fiji Water,” the Atlanta cult-favorite is debuting another high-profile single in support of his anticipated new full-length release. This time around, Peewee Longway is “in the Panther like Wakanda” for “Wakanda,” a Blue M&M 4 salvo produced by one of Longway’s closest collaborators, 808 Mafia producer Cicero. As the aforementioned lyrics reveal, “Wakanda” takes more of its inspiration from Peewee Longway’s favorite car, an all-black Panther, than Marvel’s acclaimed 2018 blockbuster.

“It’s always a party! I cannot take it serious,” Peewee Longway shared with us in April of 2018, sharing some insight into the creative process that births releases like the upcoming Blue M&M entry. “When you take it too seriously, then your feelings get involved. You start tripping on the wrong things … so I just try to leave those feelings out of it. It’s serious as far as getting the project done, but it’s most definitely fun — I’m going to keep it fun! If there ain’t no happy vibe, I don’t even really want to be in the environment because it won’t come out right. We don’t have time to talk all that “extra gangsta” stuff, we’re here to have fun and party and get these tracks.”
