Mitchell & Ness Drops Nostalgic Dream Team Collection
Paying homage to the star-studded 1992 basketball team.
Mitchell & Ness recently launched a capsule collection dedicated to the 1992 United States men’s Olympic basketball team, aptly referred to as the “Dream Team.” The team’s lineup included the likes of Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Patrick Ewing (among others) and unsurprisingly went on to secure an undefeated season.
True to its fashion, Mitchell & Ness pays homage to the Dream Team with a series of navy jerseys, reversible practice jerseys and T-shirts designed to be as authentic to the ones worn by the players as possible. Most items feature red and white detailing, the original Dream Team logo, the player’s last name and corresponding number, and a special version of Mitchell & Ness’ classic tag. A snapback in white or black, emblazoned with the Dream Team and Mitchell & Ness logos, completes the set.
