Rick Owens Elevates the Simple Black Suit With Silver-Tone Dégradé Design

Rick Owens has added a dégradé effect with elevated silver tones onto the classic black suit, and thus giving the blazer and trousers combination an unconventional new touch.
Both pieces are crafted of 85% wool and blended with synthetic fibers, then marked by a gradient scheme that transitions from black into silver and white. The back of the blazer is featured in solid black, while the colorblocked theme makes its way onto the peaked lapel collar and welt pockets at the chest and waist. It fastens with a single-button closure to round out the details.
Completing the look are the tapered trousers that bear the same silver-tone pattern. They’re constructed with a cropped, mid-rise cut and feature four pockets, belt loops and a button-fly closure. Pleating along the front and back seams gives them a crisp finish.
