Maison Margiela applies yet another modernized update to a classic footwear silhouette in the traditional Combat Boots. In line with the recently released Union boot and Retro Fit Trainer, the shoe picks up the same signature chunky outsole with a heightened ripple heel.

Margiela has been honing in on distinguished, deconstructive designs and unconventional material usage. So it comes as no surprise that the Leather Combat boot is laced with a retro fit rubber sole and a chunky heel to maintain its stylistic integrity of a minimalistic and sleek look. The coated laces, lace up fastening and black-white stitch additions recognize the brand’s commitment to detailed yet subtle design layering. With a leather smooth grain finish on top of the outsole, the boot represents a clean and concise design philosophy that gets straight to the point.

The Maison Margiela Leather Combat Boot in black is priced at $1,090 USD and can be purchased from retailers such as LN-CC.
