KRINK Taps Modernica for Dripping Fiberglass Shell Chair
Limited to 100 chairs.
After collaborating with BlackEyePatch on the “Sticker-Covered Shell Chair” last month, Modernica has unveiled another co-sign, this time with KRINK. This release follows a collaboration from back in 2014, which saw a greyed-out fiberglass piece with silver pigments and walnut dowels.
Presented is the Case Study Furniture® Fiberglass Shell Chair, slathered in dripping white paint all the way from the top of the back support to the edge of the seat. The motif is taken from an original painting by founder and owner of KRINK Craig Costello. Highlighted over a Jet Black fiberglass shell and soft fabric, the artwork accentuates the smooth lines and shape of the chair. As finishing touches, other details like black trim around the edges, a tonal Eiffel base and KRINK’s logo plate round up the piece.
The KRINK x Modernica Case Study Furniture® Fiberglass Shell Chair will see a limited run of 100 chairs and will be available for purchase at modernica.net on August 8, 12 p.m. EST.
