HYKE and The North Face Showcase Sleek Technical Layers in FW19 Lookbook
The Japan-exclusive collaboration concludes with this collection.

After the collection debuted on the Fall/Winter 2019 runway, we took a backstage look at HYKE and The North Face’s latest collaborative effort. Now, the duo have delivered a lookbook showcasing the goods, as well as detailed shots of each item — fitting that the collection represents the duo’s most cohesive selection to date, as it’s also the final joint effort between HYKE and The North Face, for now at least.
Encompassing a wide array of function-driven pieces, HYKE x The North Face FW19 repurposes several staples from past offerings while retaining the core motifs that HYKE upholds in each collection. Clean lines and a minimalist palette of olive drab, black and beige informs the drop, which features clothes for both men and women, from fuzzy coats to weather-resistant trousers to insulating Nuptse shoes. Boxy pullovers showcase bold white TNF branding, while “Monster” parkas and hooded coats are realized with dangling straps and GORE-TEX lining, suitably complementing the drawstring-imbued trousers and puffy neck gaitors.
Expect Isetan Shinjuku and The North Face Standard Futako-Tamagawa to receive the collection on September 11 before it all hits HYKE x The North Face stockists on September 18. As usual, due to contractual restrictions, the collection will remain exclusive to Japan. If you’re unable to visit any time soon, relish the goods in action via the campaign video and take a closer look below.
Most recently, The North Face prepped “Back to Campus” Heritage series garments in time for the upcoming school season.
