'Fornite' Season Ten Battle Pass Introduces Two-Player B.R.U.T.E. Mech Suit
Alongside new Missions!, old locations and Battle Pass gifting.
Fornite Season Ten has released and it comes with a number of controversial updates that are sure to challenge the way gamers play. The new Season X Battle Pass is available on all devices and brings new mechs, missions and gameplay functions.
Most notable is the release of a two-person B.R.U.T.E. mech suit. The two-player suit is powered in two ways, with one player controlling the movement and the other the firepower, although it is single-person operable if you wish. The B.R.U.T.E. enables players to dash into combat, “super jump” and even stomp on your enemies, and comes equipped with a shotgun and missile launcher, as well as a host of vaulted weapons on top of the new mech suit.
Downloading the battle pass will also reintroduce old game locations via rift zones. As Epic Games said in a press release, “locations once thought to be lost are beginning to appear, but they aren’t the same as they once were. Drop-in and explore to discover what mysterious gameplay changes they have in store.”
Also new to the Season X Battle Pass are the Missions! Unlock rewards. A new series of thematic objectives will send you across the island on the hunt for rewards, such as XP, Battle Stars and exclusive items. One of the more interesting developmentss is the introduction of Battle Pass gifting, enabling players to send Battle Passes to friends on all devices until August 15.
Lastly, the Season X Battle Pass introduces new Events, a weapon-free zone, an advanced storm controller, new camera modes, a host of bug fixes and, to make sure all these new functions run smoothly, performance updates for game streaming. Head over to the Fortnite website to find out more.
