Future Revisits His 'Save Me' EP for New "Please Tell Me" Visual
Directed by Enfants Riches Déprimés founder Henri Alexander Levy.
A few weeks after linking up with Lil Keed for his latest major single “Undefeated,” Future is revisiting his most recent studio project, Save Me, for a new music video. Specifically, Future is teaming up with director and Enfants Riches Déprimés founder Henri Alexander Levy for a visual in support of the Richie Souf-produced Save Me highlight “Please Tell Me.”
Released this past June, Future’s Save Me EP served as the follow-up to his January full-length release Future Hndrxx Presents: The WIZRD and gave listeners seven new tracks to jumpstart summer with. For the project’s production, Future looked to K-Major, Fuse of 808 Mafia, FXXXXY, Detail, G. Ry, Dre Moon and others for assistance. Besides “Please Tell Me,” Henri Alexander Levy also directed the clip for other Save Me tracks such as “Government Official,” “XanaX Damage” and “Love Thy Enemies.” Notably, Save Me also marks the beginning of a new era for Future’s career.
“You need to make this shit and you need to live this shit and be standing on my words. I need to live every word that I’m talking about,” Future told Rob Markman earlier this year, opening up to Genius about his plans to begin a significant shift in creative direction and content with his latest and forthcoming projects. “It just gets much … I just want to put an end to that. The WIZRD … it’s just basically me putting an end to that chapter and moving on in life now.”
