Shearling has already become a hot trend for the upcoming Fall/Winter season, with brands like Acne Studios and Burberry contributing to other available options.
Rick Owens’ take on the material favorite comes in the form of a knee-length coat made from 100% lamb shearling with cotton-lined pockets. The coat is reversible, allowing two different wear options: smooth-side-up offers a sleek, versatile look, while textured-side-up transforms the coat into a blanket-esque statement piece. In terms of coloring, 100% lamb shearling is dyed into four distinct shades, including rust, tan, black and grey. A silver-toned asymmetric zip-front closure and drop shoulders contribute to an oversized fit. Rounding out the jacket’s relaxed silhouette is a cozy hood that zips flat when not in use and angled front pockets including snap closures.
