BEAMS Plus Reimagines Ivy League Style in FW19 Collection
A modern take on classic silhouettes and patterns.
Following the release of its preppy SS19 collection, BEAMS Plus returns with another Americana-inspired lookbook. Its Fall/Winter 2019 collection reimagines Ivy League style with a modern twist, giving way to “All You Need Is Ivy.”
The collection highlights a large selection of outerwear that includes pullovers, lightweight jackets, cardigans, blazers, letterman jackets and more. Classic patterns that are reminiscent of retro Ivy League style such as argyle, flannel, tweed and vertical stripes inform the outerwear pieces as well as collared shirts and sweaters. The collection’s color palette ranges from muted tones like navy blue and gray to brightly colored oranges and bold camouflage print. Bucket hats, beanies, caps and scarves complete the layered looks. “All You Need Is Ivy” continues the brand’s mission to give classic silhouettes and patterns a modern upgrade, transforming older Ivy League styles into more wearable looks.
