Alexander Wang and Gentle Monster Reveal Snake-Themed Collaboration
Featuring metal snake motifs.
Following a buzz-worthy collaboration with AMBUSH just last month, Korean eyewear brand Gentle Monster is back at it again, this time sharing images of its latest collaboration with Alexander Wang. This marks the second time the two brands have joined forces, as exactly a year ago they teamed up to release the “CEO” shades.
The new shades, called M.PRI$$, were first teased on the runway during Alexander Wang’s Pre-Fall 2019 show and are now set to release next month. M.PRI$$ will release in two colorways, black with gold details and clear with silver details. Each pair features two metal snakes, one wrapped around each eye. The silhouette hints at a cate eye shape by slightly flaring at the temples, but its restraint allows the pair to easily be dressed up or down. A leather case with an oversized zipper and Alexander Wang branding holds the pair when not in use.
M.PRI$$ will be available on both Gentle Monster and Alexander Wang‘s websites beginning September 12 for $320 USD.
