Medicom Toy Drops NASA and master-piece BE@RBRICK Collabs
Featuring collabs from NASA, sacai, and master-piece.

Medicom Toy is set to release a number of new collaborative BE@RBRICKs with a variety of groups. Included in the new drop are two space-themed collectibles — one in partnership with NASA — and a figure designed by accessories specialist, master-piece.
First up is a special 1969 ASTRONAUT version that’s fully licensed from NASA. Commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission; the same mission where Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first humans to walk on the lunar surface. The figure maintains graphics of a spacesuit followed by a golden helmet with smoky ears and is accompanied by a MY FIRST BE@RBRICK for tykes, which sports its own galactic artwork.
Finally, there’s master-piece‘s figure, which enlists the artwork of Kousuke Shimizu for a whacky, three-eyed bear that sees bold hits of green, orange, purple and pink — depicted wearing one of master-piece’s signature backpacks.
Those interested in picking up of these collaborative BE@RBRICK designs can find them over at medicom’s website now, where they retail from between $150 – $560 USD — even the sacai x Dr. Woo figure, which was originally a pop-up-only release.
In other news, LEGO builds life-size astronaut to celebrate Apollo 11.
