adidas Originals Drops Snakeskin-Covered LXCON 94 & Supercourt
Featuring Texas-inspired insoles.
adidas Originals has added two more silhouettes to its line of snakeskin-inspired sneakers, seeing the LXCON 94 and all-new Supercourt join the previously seen Yung-1.
Much like the Yung-1, the LXCON 94 and Supercourt feature an all-over reptilian textured design. Where they differ from the Yung-1 is with details such as a smooth tan leather tongue on the Supercourt and a glossy tan fabric tongue on the LXCON 94.
Both pairs sit atop an off-white sole unit, which is given a subtle gum outsole on the adiPRENE-equipped LXCON 94 and kept clean on the Supercourt. adidas Originals has given its Snakeskin LXCON 94 a set of leather Three Stripes, embroidered adidas EQT branding and a red panel highlighting its torsion system on the outsole. All three pairs feature insoles which are covered in the flag of Texas as a further nod to the pack’s desert inspiration.
The Supercourt features an adidas-branded window on the lateral eyestay, a leather heel tab and a split sole unit. The adidas Originals LXCON 94 is priced at ¥18,360 JPY (approx. $170 USD) and the Supercourt is priced at ¥16,200 JPY (approx. $150 USD) at retailers such as atmos Tokyo, where you can also pick up the aforementioned Yung-1.
