Kawhi Leonard and Paul George Head to LA Clippers
Saying goodbye to The Six.
After months of rumors and speculation, free-agent forward Kawhi Leonard has signed with the Los Angeles Clippers.
According to sources, Leonard will be saying goodbye to the Toronto Raptors after leading the team to its first-ever NBA Championship last month. The Clippers also acquired Paul George from the Oklahoma City Thunder, after Leonard launched efforts to recruit him to the Clippers. Approaching the Thunder to request a trade, the Oklahoma City team was forced to work out a trade that would see the Clippers send over Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Danilo Gallinari along with four unprotected first-round picks, one protected first-round pick and two pick swaps.
