Rock Music and Basketball Collide With the Air Jordan 1 "Defiant"

How to cop before the GR.

Jordan Brand has been striking throughout the summer with drop-after-drop, and it seems the end to the releases is far from happening as the brand introduces the Air Jordan 1 “Defiant.” Showing deference to the alternative rock community, the new colorway — trading over on StockX — is not moving with a similar fervor like peers recently hitting the market. At 41 sales made so far, the premium paid for each only sits at about 22.9% above the MSRP, possibly lowering once it hits the general public.

Comprising a contrasting upper of black and white tumbled leather, the drop approaches typical design elements with a bit a flair. Red stitching throughout adds a pop color and is uniquely implemented on the sides of the footwear, as the Swoosh appears only as a frayed outline. Elsewhere on the medial of the left shoe, a golden yellow emblazons the second Check to structurally offset the aesthetic witnessed out. The same aforementioned hue provides the tonal base for the insole as a final touch.

With the lowest offer set at $200 USD, miss the wait and head over to StockX’s website to buy the Air Jordan 1 “Defiant.”
