Prince‘s estate has unveiled a new music video for the late artist’s original demo recording of “Manic Monday,” in partnership with Warner Records. When the Prince-written track was released by The Bangles in 1986, it helped propel their Different Light album to #2 on the charts. The visuals include unreleased archival footage from Prince’s vault, showing his creative process and a rare glimpse into his personal life during the formative years of his decades-long career. While praised for his live performances and image in the spotlight, Prince also spent a large portion of his time working behind the scenes to create music for up-and-coming musicians and foster their talents.

Get a peek at the video below and watch the full version at Apple Music.
