Nike Air VaporMax Plus Surfaces in Ombré "Desert Sunset"
Gradient shades of the nightfall.
With releases like the Air Max Tailwind 4 and Air Max 98 in the “Desert Fade” colorway among its recent drops, Nike continues to pull from the elements of nature for its upcoming Air VaporMax Plus, which is entitled simply “Desert Sunset.” Reflective of the sneaker’s moniker, the brand blends together the colors of the twilight to present a vibrant ombré design.
The shoe is defined by a gradient treatment along the upper, which transitions from shades of purple into yellow, orange and “Bright Crimson” tones. Black details provide a dark contrast throughout, including the laces, midsole and the plastic webbed overlay that makes up the signature curved lines on the side panel. Finally, Nike adds hints of “Reflective Silver” through the Swoosh logos and gives the style an all-black outsole to round it off.
No word on the pricing or release date for the Air VaporMax Plus “Sunset” as of yet, so stay tuned for its release in the future from retailers such as NOIRFONCE.
