Earlier this month, Geto Boys legend Bushwick Bill passed away at the age of 52. Since his death, tributes have flooded in from all over the world, with fans taking to social media and elsewhere to pay their respects. Choosing to honor Bushwick Bill‘s legacy in a rather creative way, a pair of exceptionally enthusiastic fans are using their collective share of the spotlight to bring attention to his work in a very unique fashion; specifically, Atlanta’s WSB-TV anchors Mark Arum and Fred Blankenship used a recent traffic report as a platform to memorialize the late hip-hop hero.

Using bars from records like “Mind Playing Tricks On Me,” “Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangsta,” “Little Big Man,” “Copper to Cash” and “Ever So Clear,” Arum and Blankenship served up their own medley of Bushwick Bill verses to eulogize him while giving viewers a breakdown of local traffic conditions. In the past, the two anchors have served up similar segments for Craig Mack, Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G. and other well-known rappers. You definitely have to admire their love of classic rap and their respect for the genre’s most talented icons.

In other hip-hop news, GoldLink just released his latest full-length studio album, Diaspora.
