Helmut Lang is joining the fashion world in commemorating Pride Month 2019 by releasing a capsule collection in conjunction with Artforum magazine. This marks the first collaboration between the two entities, who initially connected with each other over 20 years ago when Helmut Lang became the first fashion brand to advertise with the publication.

Celebrating the LGBTQ+ community, the capsule features a white T-shirt and matching hoodie that have been emblazoned with a unique graphical take on Daniel Quasar’s 2018 Progress Pride Flag. Using the typical rainbow-hued palette, the back of each piece has been printed with a block-style image that mirrors the spines of Artforum‘s magazine. The publication follows a new monochromatic color scheme each year, which has been reflected on the tees and hoodies for all of its 2018-2019 issues, spotlighting bold colors like orange, lime green, sky blue and purple.

The front of each style features a co-branded logo and the beginning and ending dates for pride month — “06.01.2019-06.30.2019.” Additionally, a portion of the proceeds from the limited-edition collection will benefit New York’s LGBTQ Center.

Priced from $175-$275 USD the Artforum x Helmut Lang Pride Capsule is available now from Helmut Lang stores and on its website.
