'Apex Legends' Season 2 Trailer Introduces Map Changes and a New Character
As well as new prehistoric hazards.
Respawn Entertainment has released the highly-anticipated trailer for the second season of their battle royale title Apex Legends. Several changes to the map have been introduced, including new buildings, structures and hazards from a prehistoric dinosaur named Leviathan.
The teaser footage also showcases an update to the barren wasteland due to an EMP blast that restored the area’s vegetation and wildlife. The battle pass also introduces several new weapon and character skins for the Spitfire machine gun as well as Legends Caustic and Octane. There are even new emotes for skydiving. Lastly, we see the launch of a new character, Wattson the engineer, who was previously revealed at E3. However, the new fighter named Crypto, whose also been rumored for a while, did not make an appearance.
