King Lil G Introduces New 'Eternal' LP with 'First 48'-Inspired "No Face No Ca$e" Video
“Nothing lasts forever but I want my legacy to live on eternally.”
Having just signed a new record deal with EMPIRE, King Lil G is revealing plans for his next major studio project, Eternal. To introduce Eternal, the 32-year-old emcee is serving up a new visual in support of Eternal’s lead single, “No Face No Ca$e.” Notably, today’s vignette for “No Face No Ca$e” was put together entirely by King Lil G, who directed and edited the video himself.
“I picked this song’s title because people can get away with crimes if you have no proof. I’ve gone through legal battles where people have taken money from me and got away with it, No Face No Ca$e,” King Lil G shares with us in an exclusive statement, breaking down his latest single and music video. “The concept of the video was different. It’s based on one of my favorite TV shows First 48. I gave it an interrogation look and type of vibe.”
“Nothing lasts forever but I want my legacy to live on eternally,” the West Coast rapper adds, breaking down the meaning behind his forthcoming album’s title.
