Balenciaga & Barneys Give Away Sustainable Deli Bags for Pride Month 2019
The water soluble bag can be picked up for free along the NYC parade route.
Balenciaga and Barneys have teamed up for the release of a reworked deli bag, tributing the streets of New York while honoring Pride Month and the LGBTQ community.
The collaborative bag is made from cassava starch, meaning it is biodegradable and compostable. Balenciaga branding and the slogan “Love is for everyone” is repeatedly printed across the pink bag. Balenciaga and Barneys will be giving this bag away at participating stockists.
The bag will be distributed among 17 delis and other shops along the NYC Pride Parade route on June 30. Participating stockists include various Andy’s Delis, Merci Markets, Sam’s Deli and more, which you can see below.
In other Pride-related news, KITH Treats has partnered with Baked by Melissa to create miniature rainbow cupcake swirls.
