Virgil Abloh Previews a Bold Orange Low-Top Louis Vuitton Sneaker
A memory of Kanye’s 2009 LV Don Sneaker.

Virgil Abloh took some time off from his exhibition preparations to preview a new Louis Vuitton silhouette. The fashion house’s menswear artistic director and Off-White™ founder offered the new look on Instagram, simply captioning it with the handle of his art show’s venue.
Dipped in a high-vis orange hue, the low-top sneaker is crafted of premium leather and soft suede, featuring compelling details such as double-layered mudguards and an oversized rubber luggage tag attached on the laces. From the angle taken, camouflaged branding hits can be seen in the form of a large LV logo on the tongue, a minimized LV emblem on the plastic mesh section on the forefoot panel, VUITTON near the collar and the label’s symbols on the midsole. The monochromatic colorway draws comparison to good friend Kanye West’s LV Don Sneaker from 2009, particularly with the model’s cut and branding placements.
Take a first look at the sneaker below. Further details including on-foot photos, a release date and retail price are yet to be announced so stay tuned for more information.
