After receiving an official release date, we now have a closer look at the details found on the upcoming Off-White™ x Nike Zoom Terra Kiger 5.
Dropping in three colorways: “White/Metallic Silver/Sail/Safety Orange,” “Electric Green/Metallic Silver/Sail” and “Black/Metallic Silver/White/Pink Blast,” the latest collaborative sneaker from Virgil Abloh leads the designer’s upcoming “Athlete in Progress” collection. Comprised of post-run apparel alongside performance product, the special range draws inspiration from the confidence and self-belief of runners throughout history
Based on Nike’s Zoom Terra Kiger 5 running silhouette, the design of the Off-White™ x Zoom Terra Kiger 5 is defined by a mix of technical and trail style laces and a Zoom sole unit complete with running spikes. The technical element of the collaboration continues on the upper in the form of functional lace loops and eyelets embedded directly into the mixture of high-density mesh and suede overlays. Finishing up the design of the shoes are Off-White™’s signature industrial design markings, dark green flocked zip tags and orange tabs applied on the midfoot Swooshes.
The Off-White™ x Nike Zoom Terra Kiger 5 and accompanying “Athlete in Progress” collection is set to release at Nike and select retailers come June 27.
