Nike's Air Max 1 Premium Gets a Cut-Out Swoosh Rendition
A clean monochromatic look for spring.
Nike is not afraid to mix up its trademark Swoosh, especially on the elevated Air Max 1 Premium model (think back to special iterations like the pink flocking on its “Wheat Gold” colorway). Now the brand is giving the silhouette another fresh take on the Check, switching things up with a sleek cut-out design.
The latest release features a crisp white and “Pure Platinum” upper that is dotted with traces of “Racer Blue” for color pops. To add dimension to the shoe, the style has been carved out along the side panels and toe cap, leaving simply an outline of what would usually be the brand’s Swoosh. The etched out details reveal coarse-grained underlays, giving the monochromatic sneaker a textural finish.
Priced at $130 USD, the Air Max 1 Premium in “Pure Platinum/Summit White/Racer Blue/Vast Grey” is available now at Nike’s webstore.
