PlayStation Release 20 Minutes of 'Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled' Gameplay
Showcasing the title’s revamped Adventure Mode.
PlayStation has released a 20-minute gameplay video of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, showcasing the remade title’s adventure mode. The footage above showcases the starting lineup of characters from the original game like Crash Bandicoot, his sister Coco, and antagonist Doctor Neo Cortex.
Boss characters will still be unlockables, but they will now be earned immediately after that boss is defeated as opposed to when you earn a circuit cup. Even the main antagonist Nitros Oxide will be available, although PlayStation notes in a press release that its “no easy task!” Instead, unlockables like karts, customization items, and skins will be earned after winning each race and circuit cups will provide entirely new prizes.
Characters can also be swapped out in-game during adventure mode to utilize every character’s unique attributes when situations call for it.
Check out the gameplay above, and grab Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled on PS4 June 21.
