Patrick Stewart Returns in 'Star Trek: Picard' Teaser Trailer
The end is only the beginning.
Sir Patrick Stewart is Jean-Luc Picard once again in the first teaser trailer for CBS All Access‘ upcoming series Star Trek: Picard. The series appears to take place in the franchise’s original timeline, set 15 years after an event that has impacted his character hard.
Following his final appearance in Star Trek: Nemesis, the teaser picks up on an older Picard retired from Starfleet to run in his family’s vineyard in France, before something inevitably draws him back in. The footage is also accompanied by a voiceover, with the unknown voice possibly making reference to the destruction of Romulus. Although there isn’t a release date, Star Trek: Picard is expected to arrive “soon.”
In other entertainment news, Sarah Conner returns in Terminator: Dark Fate.
