YoungBoy Never Broke Again Drops Video for '38 Baby 2' Single "FREEDDAWG"
It’s already the No. 1 trending video on YouTube.
Continuing to hold onto his spot as the most popular rapper on YouTube and one of the most prolific artists in street-rap, YoungBoy Never Broke Again follows up February’s “Slime Belief” video with another future hit, “FREEDDAWG.”
Most notably, the 19-year-old Baton Rouge emcee is releasing his new Mook On The Beats-, DJ Swift- and CashMoneyAP-produced track as a single in support of his forthcoming full-length project 38 Baby 2. The original, previous installment in the 38 Baby series was dropped in October of 2016, and helped secure its creator’s position at the top of his craft; the video for 38 Baby‘s title track also sits right under 90 million views on YouTube, while the visual for another album cut, “I Ain’t Hiding,” is only a few million views away from the 100-million mark.
“I put the bitch up in a casket, f*ck up yo’ headstone / Them n***as used to run the city, won’t even claim that bitch / Don’t say nothin’, ’cause the shit ain’t serious, don’t make me taint that shit / These youngins runnin’ with me with it, they on some dangerous shit / Bustin’, put two in yo’ fit it, I call that gang assist,” YoungBoy aggressively spits on “FREEDDAWG,” serving up some of his signature lyrical threats and barbs. “Rollin’, I just popped one, tryna body bag and zip some, yeah / Pants hangin’ off my ass, Glock on my side with a green flag / Talkin’ reckless, caught ‘em slippin’, went to bustin’, did ‘em bad / Soon as we swerve, we bend the curve, don’t do no talkin’, that’s yo’ ass.”
