GUESS & 88rising's Joji Collaborate for Ballads Capsule
Inspired by his debut studio album ‘BALLADS 1.’
GUESS and 88rising are extending their well-received partnership to launch the JOJI x GUE88 Ballads capsule, exclusively on 88NIGHTMARKET.
Helmed by 88rising resident Joji, the T-shirt bundle comes in two colorways of orange and blue. The graphics were hand-drawn by the musician himself, taking inspiration from his chart-topping debut studio album BALLADS 1. With the use of puff print, GUESS elevated the piece’s already bright hues to a level of vividness that only an artist like Joji can encapsulate.
In addition to the apparel, the Ballads capsule will incorporate a limited edition VHS tape entitled “Lost Ballads.” The 10-minute Joji-directed home video gives fans a closer look into his personal life, including highlights from a fishing trip, studio time, rehearsal and BTS on a music video shoot. Snippets of previously-unreleased B-sides from BALLADS 1 and a Channel Tres remix of “CAN’T GET OVER YOU” can also be found in the tape.
