NEIGHBORHOOD Rejoins John Mayer for Racing-Inspired Tour Merch

Long-time pals NEIGHBORHOOD and John Mayer reunite for the first time in approximately five years to issue a merch capsule in time for the Tokyo stop on Mayer’s world tour. encompassing a variety of graphic layers, the goods rework co-branding into race car-style branding.
Monochrome tees and hoodies both feature bold-face prints of Mayer’s name and NEIGHBORHOOD logos in contrasting hues, with thematic “JMNH TEAM” and “JM RACING” verbiage scattered throughout. NEIGHBORHOOD’s “CRAFT WITH PRIDE” slogan appears on the rear of several items to make the imagery on the layering pieces even busier-looking. Hits of yellow and purple add extra appeal to the stylized branding, with “JOHN MAYER WORLD TOUR 2019-TOKYO” text highlighting the timeliness of the drop.
NEIGHBORHOOD will be hosting a free launch party and pop-up for the capsule on April 12, with DJ sets from the likes of Hombre Niño/XLARGE designer YOPPI and NEIGHBORHOOD founder Shinsuke Takizawa.
