Nike Gives the Vaporfly 4% a Bright Red Shell and Gradient Detail
“Bright Crimson” meets “Sapphire.”
After sprinkling its “Bright Crimson” colorway onto the Shox R4, Nike revisits the deep red shade for a new iteration of its Vaporfly 4% Fkyknit model. This latest warm-hued version of the shoe gets contrasted with “Sapphire” details for a cool, contrasting finishing.
The upper of the sneaker is designed with its namesake Flyknit construction, which is coated in the vivid red crimson from front to back. A sliver of blue seeps in at the insole and midsole, which is colorblocked with a simple white foundation. Nike’s Swoosh logo has been colored in black at the side panels in coordination with the dark laces and back pull-tab, all of which work to help tone down the intensity of the palette. Maintaining its trademark technical features, the shoe is equipped with ZoomX foam and a carbon-fiber plate to finish off its main performance elements.
Priced at $250 USD, the Vaprofly 4% Flyknit is expected to release in the near future at Nike’s webstore.
