A pair similar to an earlier dunk colorway, as shown above, was spotted on the feet of Virgil Abloh himself. Instagram leaks account @PY_RATES_ has since gone on to add to the speculation surrounding the pair of relatively un-modified sneakers. Virgil rocked the “University Gold/Midnight Navy/White” pair while announcing his Spring/Summer 2019 women’s Off-White™ Active x Nike “For Wholefoods” collection, and since then, two more pairs have been teased.
“University Red/Wolf Grey” and “Pine Green/White” are also slated for a collaborative release, and from the images of the ”University Gold/Midnight Navy/White” pair, we can see Virgil has kept his now-infamous Off-White™ branding to a minimum. The Dunk Low is wrapped in premium, highly saturated leather, and features classic bold heel and tongue tab branding.
Slated for an October 2019 release and a retail price of $170 USD, make sure to stay tuned for updates on the collaborative pair as news unfolds.
