Virgil Abloh Announces the End of Nike "The Ten" Collaboration
Could this really be it for one of the biggest collabs in sneaker history?

Virgil Abloh‘s “The Ten” collaboration alongside Nike has dominated the sneaker industry in terms of hype and sellout performance since it debuted in 2017. 2018 then saw the second batch of Abloh and the Swoosh’s designs drop with the same excitement, but that will soon change. Two years and more than twenty releases later, Virgil Abloh took to his personal Instagram to reveal the end of “The Ten” alongside a picture of the black Air Force 1 iteration (as seen below). He stated:
small fact: personally i’m visually obsessed with the combination of black sneaker / white swoosh white laces. hence every edition of the last ever “10” came as such.”
Though this may be the end of zip-ties and bold branding on some of Nike’s iconic models, it doesn’t necessarily mean the end of the relationship between Nike and the Off-White™ leader. For all we know, this successful collab could evolve into something else. Hopefully, we might see that in 2019. Let us know your thoughts on Abloh’s announcement and share your favorite release from “The Ten.”
