Ahead of the Californian brand’s progressive Fall/Winter 2019 range, Goodfight has prepared a feel-good Spring/Summer 2019 campaign video. Encompassing a young cast styled in effortlessly cool garments from SS19 “King Cake Baby & the Ivy League Dream,” the clip shines a light on the local culture as much as it does the garments.
Set in LA’s Little Jewel of New Orleans restaurant, the campaign video — directed by Ray Lin — sees the cast sitting down to dine on a fine selection of cajun-inflected treats. Of course, everyone is fully decked out in Goodfight’s cozy cardigans, colorful shirting and slouchy slacks as they dine on fried chicken, po’boy sandwiches and creamy pasta. A spacey, jazz-inflected soundtrack by Jamire Williams lends a contemporary edge to the video’s familial aesthetic.
