Ewing Athletics Pays Homage to 'Ace Ventura' With Floral Print 33 HI

Ewing Athletics has teamed up with sneaker customizer Mache275 for the special release of an Ace Ventura-themed 33 HI. The sneaker coincides with the cult ’90s film’s 25th anniversary, and draws inspiration from Jim Carrey‘s flamboyant character and his daring wardrobe.
Sporting an all-over Hawaiian floral print in orange, blue, white and yellow, the 33 HI maintains all its retro stylistic components such as the reversible ankle strap that can be worn on the front or back of the shoe, an oversized tongue and its sculpted sole unit.
The Ace Ventura specials also see swathes of soft grey adorn the tongue, midsole and heel cup, with the latter being treated to a crocodile embossed finish with “FINKLE/EINHORN” embroidery — a classic reference from the film when Ace realizes “Einhorn is a man.” The sneaker is finished with a full-length PU midsole which is optimized for superior cushioning.
The 33 HI will be accompanied by a matching pair of shorts and a jacket, and is set to release sometime this May.
