Lil Wayne Models BAPE's UGG Collaboration
Releasing this weekend.
After an exclusive first look and a few teasers, streetwear mainstay BAPE has now shared a Lil Wayne-modeled lookbook for its forthcoming UGG collaboration.
The collaborative effort with the Southern California-based manufacturer has resulted in a few footwear silhouettes. Over on the BAPESTA-inspired chunky sneaker, suede and shearling make up the majority of the upper’s composite, while an antibacterial lightweight sole with excellent grip and durability then helps to round out the design. On the other-hand, a pair of fur logo slides embellished with a “BAPE” logo motif shared between both the left and right sandal also makes up this capsule. Each piece has been dressed in a simple color palate of brown and white and features BAPE’s ubiquitous camo pattern and STA motif.
The UGG x BAPE collection will launch this Saturday, April 27 at all BAPE retailers and bape.com.
In related news, BAPE will be launching a collection with Marvel Comics as well this weekend.
