New 'Super Mario Maker 2' to Release on Nintendo Switch This Summer
Featuring a host of new customizable assets.
Nintendo has announced it will bring a Super Mario Maker 2 game to its Switch device later this year, following on from the success of its Wii U and 3DS level creation platform.
Revealed at Nintendo’s Direct presentation, Super Mario Maker 2 will allow users to create and share their very own levels in the themes of Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, New Super Mario Bros. U, and for a Nintendo Switch-exclusive, within the Super Mario 3D World.
Super Mario Maker 2 will also offer users more creativity, allowing them to develop slopes, angles and alter the level of autoscrolling functions. Nintendo also added new tools such as on/off switches.
