Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance Premiere Collaborative Lookbook

Following the recent sneaker reveal, Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance have provided a closer look at their much-anticipated collaborative release. Encompassing an array of pastel sportswear and two colorful runners, the collection is tailor-made for the forthcoming warm weather.

Lush colors inform the collaborative collection, keeping in line with Aimé Leon Dore’s seasonal in-house collection. Like the brand’s own line, the New Balance capsule is informed by vintage sportswear, with bold color-blocking, throwback logos and retro cuts. Shirts and sweaters also feature New Balance’s old slogan: “The Intelligent Choice.”

Both collaborative 997 shoes both feature bright tones of yellow, green, blue, purple or pink, adding heritage-indebted flair to the muted grey uppers, with premium pebbled leather and suede accenting the multi-hued panels. Like the sneakers, the clothing capsule embodies the bright shades of bygone era sportswear. Matching sets of long-sleeved tees and running shorts mesh with floral prints and fleece cardigans, all offered in tonal make-ups. The understated hues are elevated by impactful contrasted branding, which ranges from the aforementioned slogan to “Aimé Leon Dore” emblazoned in the New Balance typeface.
