Flying Lotus Previews New Music in Eddie Alcazar's 'Perfect' Film

Following its premiere last year at SXSW, a new clip of Eddie Alcazar’s Perfect has emerged, showcasing new music from Flying Lotus who will be producing the score. The sci-fi thriller focuses on an emotional young man who is transforming his body in an attempt to ease his suffering.

The movie is presented by acclaimed filmmaker Steven Soderbergh and is expected to hit theaters in New York and Los Angeles May 14 and May 24, respectively. This isn’t the first time FlyLo and Alcazar have worked together, as they’ve previously worked on a short film called FUCKKKYOUUU.

“Brainfeeder’s film division was created to build an infrastructure for the talents of the new avant-garde, the new left field, the NEXT new wave,” FlyLo said in a statement to Pitchfork. “Perfect is one of several collaborations I’ve worked on with Eddie Alcazar, and I’m so glad that this unique vision is ready to make its way into this world.”
