With its take on the Daybreak silhouette set to release in the near future, UNDERCOVER is lining up another Nike collaboration. This time working on the military-inspired SFB Mountain silhouette, UNDERCOVER has left behind the bold colors of the Daybreak and the React Element 87 before that. Instead, the trail-ready silhouette has been wrapped in an all-black colorway.
The silhouette made its debut in 2015, and its design was inspired by Bill Bowerman’s World War II service. For this collaboration, Jun Takahashi has done relatively little to the sneaker’s upper, as well as adding a toggle and cord lacing system, and the phrase “The New Warriors” across the forefoot strap system.
While there’s no official release details, the latest UNDERCOVER x Nike collaboration is rumoured to arrive in Summer 2019 (or slightly earlier) and be priced at $350 USD.
