Take Another Look at the Upcoming UNDERCOVER x Nike Daybreak
In the vibrant “Yellow/Gray/Black” colorway.
After revealing that the UNDERCOVER x Nike Daybreak trainer will be coming in seven distinct colorways this Summer, we now have a closer look at one of the upcoming takes in yellow, grey, and black.
The sneaker, which was debuted at Paris Fashion Week during UNDERCOVER’s Spring/Summer 2019 runway show nearly a year ago, utilizes the vintage Daybreak silhouette from 1979 — employing a flaring EVA midsole and cup innersole while maintaining its nylon-based upper. Over the weekend, Hanzuying on Instagram teased the upcoming sneaker in a bright yellow colorway, which includes much of the same design cues from the original silhouette, yet employs suede detailing on the mudguard and lacing regions, as well as the tantalizing crown-like embellishment on the rear heel portions.
