After dropping “Terracotta” and “Infra-Bred” Jordan Brand collaborations last year, CLOT is continuing its relationship with Nike with a new fusion release. Dropping in time for Air Max Day, the new Zoom Haven 97 sees the Zoom Haven upper added to an Air Max 97 sole unit.
The Zoom Haven originally made its debut in 1999, and features a structured upper designed for cross-training. In this Air Max Day release, the new Zoom Haven 97 upper is set to drop in three colorways ranging from the muted “White/Off-White Sail” to the more eye-catching “Volt/Dark Gray/Pure Platinum” and “White/Sail/Deep Royal Blue.”
Alongside the footwear release, CLOT and Nike are also dropping an apparel collection comprised of tracksuits matching the “Volt” and “Deep Royal Blue” colorways.
To launch the collaboration, CLOT has recruited contemporary artist Katherine Bernhardt to create exclusive artworks and one-of-one apparel pieces. Bernhardt’s work for this project blurs the lines between sportswear, pop-culture and fashion. Alongside Bernhardt’s work, the pop-ups will also feature exclusive pieces from Kazuki Kuraishi.
The CLOT x Nike pop-up will open in Hong Kong on March 28 and will run until March 31. The exhibition and temporary store will then head to Los Angeles for a one-day pop-up on April 6. Currently, the CLOT x Nike Zoom Haven 97 sneaker is exclusive to these pop-ups, but keep an eye out any wider release details.
In related news, Nike just announced its “Give Fresh Air” campaign.
