Revealing nothing more than a rear shot, we can see the Made in U.S.A. 990 feature a clean black mesh upper with overlays of grey suede, cream leather panels and red detailing. Bright red laces hit the laces and heels, which are embroidered with “WATER” and “WIFI” respectively.
A reflective “NB” tab sits in the middle of the heel cup branding, and below on the rear of the sole unit “new balance” appears on a silver plastic sole unit insert. The sole itself is the highly-praised ENCAP unit, a carved and chunky offering that aligned itself with last years dad sneaker trend.
No Vacancy Inn member Tremaine Emory also posted a shot of the sneakers on Instagram, adding that “legal had to clear ‘water & wifi’, but these are coming out soonish.” Stay tuned to for updates on the No Vacancy Inn x New Balance 990.
