Nike Air Max 90 Receives Khaki-Green Treatment
Playing up UNDEFEATED’s signature color combination.
After dropping off a “Cool Grey” colorway of its Air Max 90 silhouette, Nike is back with a khaki green-toned edition of the classic sneaker. The upcoming iteration plays up the color scheme akin to UNDEFEATED, drawing on the Los Angeles-based brand’s signature green and orange combination.
A shade of khaki green covers the upper, which was designed with mesh and leather fabrications that offer a textural aesthetic. Pops of orange brighten up the style and are added on the tongue, exposed Air Sole unit and side-logo panel. Other typical branding elements are featured in black, including the leather Swoosh, while the “Nike Air” verbiage on the heel takes on a tangerine hue for a final bold contrast. A black-and-white colorblocked midsole completes the footwear with a clean finish.
Nike’s Air Max 90 Essential in khaki green retails for $110 USD. The shoe is expected to release in the near future at Nike.com and select retailers.
